6 weeks. One shot to compete.
The FIRST Robotics Competition combines the intensity of sport with real-world engineering. Each year, high school teams are given a new game and six weeks to design, build, and program an industrial-scale robot to compete.
Students take on roles across engineering, software, strategy, and operations, working within strict rules, time constraints, and resource limits. The result is a fast-paced, competitive environment that closely mirrors real engineering projects.

and MORE!
MECO Robotics welcomes high school students to participate on our FRC team. Students are expected to be reliable, willing to learn, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
No prior experience is required; students develop technical, organizational, and leadership skills through hands-on involvement throughout the season.
Our team is supported by a strong network of mentors, parents, and volunteers. Their contributions make it possible for students to design, build, and compete at a high level.
Opportunities to contribute include:
Technical mentorship (engineering, programming, CAD)
Build and fabrication support
Logistics, travel, and event coordination
Outreach and community engagement
If you’re interested in getting involved, reach out to our leadership team to find a role that fits your experience and availability.
